We’re a 501(c)(3) located on the beautiful Whidbey Island, Washington.
We’re here to keep usable materials out of the waste stream and build a circular economy that will keep Whidbey community minded and sustainable-through art and mending.

Founded by lifelong friends Casey and Izzie.

Casey is an artist, author, and natural teacher who loves working with unexpected materials. Izzie is an educator and textile artist with a passion for all things knitting, sewing, and mending.

Together we blend creativity, sustainability, and foundational art and sewing techniques. We’re on a mission to make more art and less waste!

We offer classes, services, and advice as well as finished pieces so you can bring a piece of Whidbey Makery home with you even if you haven’t mastered the skills yet.
